With 40+ years of combined experience in the Journalism and Managed IT Services fields, I have learned a lot about the necessity of going beyond simple Review / Ratings / Price comparisons for Software as a Service (SaaS) vendors, especially as enterprise data regulations filter down to small organizations, either from government agencies or from clients striving to comply with industry standards.
My experiences have resulted in my book, "Find Your Cloud 9s With SaaS Apps". I've designed the book for small businesses that don't have the time, money and knowledge to easily conduct the vendor risk assessments required to perform due diligence on vendors that gain extraordinary control over their customers' operations -- primarily, their customers' data.
I'm more than happy to speak to small business and nonprofit organizations, and to answer Journalists' questions on how small organizations can avoid the long-term business performance issues from software selections that plague more than half of SMBs.
